Lead the North American commercial team in successfully implementing strategic growth initiatives and commercial activities
Develop and implement the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to support divisional AOP and STRAP
Collaborate across functions such as Service Management, Customer Services, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain to improve customer value
Foster and strengthen high-level customer relationships, serving as a point of contact for any concerns raised by our partners and representing Thermo Fisher Scientific in senior-level discussions
Align actions and processes across local, regional, and global teams to improve customer happiness and achieve a world-class Customer Allegiance Score (CAS)
Attract, develop, and retain talent while building an effective leadership succession pipeline
Foster an inclusive environment that drives employee engagement measured by the Employee Involvement Survey (EIS)
Requirements
Four-year degree in a relevant field (business or life sciences)
At least 10 years of proven experience in a commercial sales or marketing management role, preferably within the Life Sciences industry
Relevant experience in managing business functions with a minimum of 5 years of P&L general management experience
Demonstrated experience in driving growth and share gain in a large, complex business through direct and indirect sales channels.
Strong knowledge of financial and business operations with proven ability to drive margin expansion and operational improvements
Ability to develop creative growth strategies and guide successful execution
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and lead employees to achieve performance objectives
Demonstrated experience working effectively in a multi-divisional matrix organization
Strong communication ability across various levels within the organization and with external collaborators.
