Role Overview
- Guide the ORI project team in Agile and Scrum practices, promoting consistent use of agreed frameworks and ceremonies.
- Plan and facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives to maintain rhythm and alignment.
- Work with the Product Owner to shape, prioritise and maintain the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined and aligned to project objectives.
- Proactively identify and remove delivery blockers, supporting continuous improvement and helping the team meet sprint commitments.
- Track and report on delivery performance using metrics such as sprint velocity and burn‑down charts, providing clear visibility of progress and risk.
- Capture and document business requirements and user stories to required standards, ensuring traceability to scope and governance expectations.
- Support the development of business process flows and Target Operating Model documentation for the future‑state Outwards Reinsurance function.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst within change programmes, ideally in insurance or financial services.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practical experience running Scrum ceremonies.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops, manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus on priorities and outcomes.
- Solid analytical and documentation skills, with experience producing user stories, process flows and TOM artefacts.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge constructively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Organised, resilient and comfortable working in a fast‑paced change environment.
