Leading and/or contributing to various cross functional teams and projects to deliver business operating plans and ensure a robust, comprehensive value stream for a successful supply chain experience.
Providing product support for existing products and future new product scale up and commercialization.
Driving cost reduction and process innovation through cross functional collaboration and engagement with global manufacturing sites.
Addressing urgent manufacturing issues and providing experiment coverage at our manufacturing sites.
Leading process development and process validation for new and existing products, and developing cost estimates and manufacturing plans to enable efficient production at scale.
Driving technological advancement in areas such as automation, coating, extruding, machine vision, film/web processing, and chemical processing.
Providing technical support and leadership direction for Tier I and Tier II suppliers for outsourced/contract manufacturing.
Representing manufacturing on capital projects for new and existing equipment to support development and manufacturing requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
Five (5) years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Seven (7) years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment (additional qualification)
Wound dressing and/or medical adhesive product experience (additional qualification)
Experience with good manufacturing practices (GMP) manufacturing and process validation (additional qualification)
Experience in the healthcare industry (additional qualification)
