Responsible for planning and coordinating work, aligning delivery with business and product goals, and ensuring changes are implemented smoothly and safely.
Champion engineering standards, assuring quality, compliance, and robust documentation across all activities.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, hold vendors to account, and represent your team in key governance forums.
Drive continuous improvement—introducing smarter ways of working, reducing technical debt, and helping your team grow their capability.

Proven experience in business-critical technology or operational leadership
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
Experience in successfully leading teams and developing individuals
Recognised certification in relevant competency
Experience working cross functionally with both internal and external teams.
Experience identifying and supporting delivery of both technical and process improvements in a digital engineering environment
Experience working in an agile development team, where you’ve delivered incremental small slices, and are comfortable with responding to meet user needs
Understanding of security, compliance, and safety considerations for digital and operational systems.
Strong experience with system integration and interfacing technologies (e.g., APIs, OPC UA, MQTT, vendor protocols).
Industry certifications (e.g., networking, ICS/OT security, vendor specific).
Knowledge of telephony architectures, digital communications platforms, and/or monitoring systems.
Exposure to cloud or hybrid infrastructure supporting operational systems.
