Role Overview
- Provide machining engineering support and guidance across production
- Deploy projects and provide support of Machining Manufacturing Engineering to Caterpillar Facilities
- Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes
- Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Engineering
- Experience with Manufacturing Cells preferred
- Experience with different Machining Center Controls
- Exposure to Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, or smart factory technologies
- Manufacturing experience within automotive, heavy equipment, or high‑volume production environments
- Ability to support multi‑shift operations and on‑floor troubleshooting
- English proficiency for technical documentation and cross‑site collaboration.
