About this role
Role Overview
- Contribute toward the success of our technology initiative developing a modern analytics platform
- Deep understanding of at least one major cloud provider (Azure or AWS)
- Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language
- Extensive experience with Terraform and the Databricks Terraform Provider
- Implement automation and administer the Unity Catalog
- Design, develop, test, operate and maintain products
- Conduct code reviews and apply changes to meet standards
- Accountable for ensuring compliance and security best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Four to six years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of Databricks Experience
- 5+ years of Data Platform Experience
- 10+ years of Data Engineering related experience
- Strong understanding of the Data Engineering personas workflows
- Proficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate on all aspects of product development.
