Develop and implement a regional business strategy to achieve growth and margin targets in the DACH region
Define and execute the commercial strategy for the DACH region
Responsible for sales volume, margin and profitability; identification of growth opportunities, up-selling and cross-selling
Ensure Hydro maximizing market-share in DACH through using capacity on cost competitive regions to secure customers where DACH plants are uncompetitive due to competing with imports or other comparative disadvantages
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and decision-makers in industry
Identify and develop new business opportunities in key industries
Lead, develop and motivate the regional sales team, fostering a performance
and customer-oriented culture
Work closely with Production, Technology, Pricing and Supply Chain to ensure optimal solutions for the customer and a high level of service and compliance in deliveries
Lead complex contract and pricing negotiations at the executive level
Monitor market trends and competitors public information; derive strategic actions to secure and expand market position
Promote and communicate Hydro's sustainable aluminium solutions and reinforcing the company's position as a pioneer in circular economy and low-carbon production.
Requirements
More than 7 years of experience in the sale of technically complex industrial products
Deep knowledge of market dynamics, customer structures and distribution channels in the DACH region
Demonstrated results in sales growth, key account development, and market share growth
Strong experience leading business teams, preferably within matrix structures of international industry organizations
Ability to translate strategic objectives into concrete operational plans and execute successfully
Strong commercial orientation and security in negotiating high-value contracts and framework agreements
Ability to understand technical products and translate technical advantages into customer value propositions
Mastery in the management of KPIs, prices, margins and budgets
Genuine interest in sustainable material solutions and the industrial transformation towards low-carbon production
University Degree
High sales orientation, entrepreneurial mindset and clear focus on results

Excellent communication and influence skills, able to interact with interlocutors at all levels
