Role Overview
- Review vendor submittals for compliance
- Author RFIs to contractors and manage the RFI process
- Proactively manage the change process
- Prepare monthly invoices in various formats
- Track payments and maintain positive cash flow
- Ensure quality measures at factories
- Manage and mitigate project risks
- Review CPM project schedules
- Track material through the supply chain
- Engage with vendors and contractors proactively
- Represent Ferguson in a professional manner
Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Extensive history with the submittal process
- Strong understanding of contract delivery methods
- DBIA certification a plus
- Understanding of risk management
- Experience reading construction contracts
- Familiarity with general conditions and specifications
- Ability to interpret CPM schedules, notably Primavera P6 format
- Experience with billing processes
