The Systems Analyst collaborates with business, clinical, and technical subject matter experts, HR leaders and partners, IT/DTS partners, and other shared support teams across Intermountain Health to analyze design, build, test, implement and support (technical and functional) a spectrum of digital solutions.
The position uses attributes and skills including problem solving, learning agility, interpersonal communication, project management, documentation proficiency, and process improvement competence.
The ideal candidate will have a broad technological aptitude to perform the essential functions of the position, which include coaching and assisting process owners in the discovery, documentation, development, deployment, and integration of digital solutions and evaluating workflow needs and providing recommendations to business and clinical partners for solutions that will achieve best performance and outcomes based on functional requirements.
This role will work Monday-Friday during regular business hours from 8am-5pm, Mountain time zone. Occasional off-hours availability may be required to support implementations.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing analysis, design, configuration, implementation (technical and functional) and support of business/financial or clinical information systems or as an expert user of the targeted systems(s)
Bachelor's degree in an information technology field
Experience supporting Service Management processes, especially within HR or Healthcare IT environments
Experience translating business requirements into clear functional specifications that meet project goals for UX designers, software developers, data architects, QA testers, usability evaluators, and other technical stakeholders.
Proficiency with ServiceNow, especially in HR Case Management, Lifecycles and Journeys, and reporting/analytics capabilities
Familiarity with Workday and its relationship to functional HR business processes
Experience with AI prompt engineering and workflow automation, including tools such as Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or similar platforms
Related certifications such as ITIL Foundations, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or Scrum
