About this role
Role Overview
- Lead the development of our React Native mobile app, owning architecture, performance, and code quality
- Design, develop, and deploy features across the full stack, frontend and backend
- Build and refine offline-first capabilities to support field operations in low-connectivity environments
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalability and long-term maintainability
- Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM
- Write clean, testable code and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile environment to ship high-impact features
Requirements
- Deep expertise in React and React Native, with strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn UI
- Solid background in Node.js and Express.js
- Proven experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs, preferably Drizzle ORM
- Ability to architect and implement scalable RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of web security best practices, Helmet, CORS, and JWT
- Clear communicator, able to bridge technical and non-technical teams
- Self-driven and adaptable, with a solution-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail
- Experience with offline-first strategies and data sync patterns (IndexedDB, etc.)
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
