Test Analyst (Mid-level)

Role Overview

• Responsible for developing and maintaining the system test strategy, creating the artifacts required to execute tests, keeping test scripts and artifacts up to date, and following development requests from conception onward, anticipating all actions necessary for correct test execution and supporting the implementation of quality practices throughout the development cycle.
• Validate deliveries made by development teams, plan and execute tests (functional and non-functional) according to the needs of each request, map and update the critical path of CAIXA applications, support user acceptance activities with the business stakeholder, and promote continuous improvement of CAIXA application quality by working together with the Certification team designated by CAIXA.
• Ensure traceability (vertical, horizontal and/or bidirectional) to preserve the relationship between test products and other artifacts such as requirements, source code and others, maintaining integrity between these elements.
• Manage and generate test data to ensure that the data required to execute tests in systems and their interfaces are available.
• Manage environments: create, configure, maintain and align development and test environments to improve the quality of IT deliveries.
• Maintain the entire structure that composes the tests for involved systems, such as test data, scripts, artifacts, simulators, routines and business processes of the systems.
• Test management and planning, with the ability to produce basic test documentation such as strategy, plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Knowledge of test management tools, defect management tools, test automation, test data generation and virtualized interfaces.
• Create scripts in specific tools, both automated and manual, and execute them while recording and analyzing results.
• Execute acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional and non-functional tests (exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress and load) according to the needs of each request (based on impact analysis or requirements defined by CAIXA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology fields; OR Bachelor’s degree in any field plus a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.
• Hold at least one of the following certifications, or an equivalent certification:
• ATC – Certified Test Analyst from IBQTS (Instituto Brasileiro de Qualidade em Testes de Software).
• CBTS – Brazilian Software Testing Certification from ALATS (Associação Latino Americana de Teste de Software) or equivalent.
• CTFL – Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB Foundation Level).
• CTFL-AT – Certified Tester Foundation Level
• Agile Tester (BSTQB or ISTQB Agile Tester).
