Role Overview
- Set, manage and evaluate PR efforts for CNN Español and CNN International in Latin America
- Collaborate with Communications VP, network execs/talent, and news comms teams
- Serve as communications advisor to editorial management and talent
- Draft and distribute press releases to promote editorial initiatives
- Work closely with production/editorial teams as well as business teams
Requirements
- College degree in PR, communications, journalism or related field
- Experience in managing people and budgets
- Fully bilingual Spanish/English
- Very strong communications skills
- written and spoken
- Able to work in a high-stress environment with multiple high priorities and shifting deadlines
- Interest in news and knowledge about Latin America
- Detail oriented
- High degree of Emotional Intelligence and interpersonal skills
