About this role
Role Overview
- Install autonomous vehicles and peripheral equipment
- Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure optimal performance
- Travel (60-75% of the time) domestically and internationally to customer sites
- Modify equipment and software
- Troubleshoot, define and seek resources to recognize and resolve electrical, mechanical and/or software improvement opportunities with system components
- Make software and hardware adjustments
- Monitor system performance metrics
- Perform customer training
- Interface with customers
- Collaborate with other engineers on projects
Requirements
- BS or BSET in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic, etc.)
- Minimum 2+ years of full-time engineering work experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Prior software experience required (C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
