About this role
Role Overview
- Ensure alignment with business needs and integrations with corporate solutions
- Participate in discoveries and/or inceptions and prepare technical specifications
- Ability to identify and design simple solutions that deliver value to the client
- Lead or support architecture decisions (ADR) and architecture review board (ARB) reviews
- Define target architecture and technical roadmap
- Develop and maintain reference architectures that serve as guides for solution construction
- Define monitoring and observability strategy
- Assess and manage technical debt, balancing cost, risk, and timelines
- Evaluate feasibility and need for adoption of new technologies
- Present solutions to stakeholders
- Conduct investigations, proofs of value (POV), and proof of concepts (POCs) to support technical decisions
Requirements
- Experience in software design and development
- Cloud-native architecture (containers, APIs, microservices, etc.)
- Knowledge of secure development standards (information security, application security, encryption, security certificates, etc.)
- Familiarity with 12-Factor App and SOLID principles
- Software engineering and quality
- Knowledge of design patterns (architecture and software)
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with integration patterns (REST APIs and event-driven architectures)
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, SQS/SNS, RabbitMQ, etc.) and caching (Redis, Memcached, etc.)
- DDD (Domain-Driven Design), TDD and BDD
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, scalability, availability, and performance strategies
- Knowledge of Data Mesh implementations
