About this role
Role Overview
Gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and user research.
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases for development and QA teams.
Analyze user behavior, business rules, and system workflows to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements.
Support Product Managers in maintaining and refining the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized.
Assist in preparing and updating product roadmaps, release plans, and sprint goals.
Collaborate with engineering, development, and testing teams during sprints to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered accurately.
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, and UAT cycles.
Work closely with client stakeholders to validate requirements, clarify expectations, and address questions or gaps in understanding.
Maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, workflows, user guides, and release notes.
Ensure traceability from requirements to delivery, validating outcomes through UAT and reviewing test results with QA.
Contribute to establishing and improving best practices for requirements management and documentation within the team.
Mentor junior analysts, helping them improve requirement gathering skills, documentation quality, and stakeholder communication.
Facilitate alignment across teams by promoting clear communication, structured analysis, and customer centric thinking.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within technology, consulting, or product‑driven organizations.
Strong experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
Hands‑on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and BRDs/FRDs.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills, including the ability to influence without authority.
Experience collaborating with engineering, QA, and product teams to support feature delivery.
