Expert Power Consultant – Part Time

Role Overview

• Provide development support, strategic planning, expert consulting, conceptual design, and engineering design oversight
• Support and lead project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contracting strategies
• Prepare project implementation strategies and plans
• Conduct expert consulting, owner’s engineering reviews, and technical due diligence

Requirements

• BS in engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
• 15 or more years of experience in the energy/power industry
• Experience with electric utilities, IPPs, or energy project development
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines
• Valued but not required skills: Experience in technical due diligence, detailed understanding of power station operations, electric utility business processes, economic and contract development experience
