Own the technical relationship for RAN with customers, serving as their trusted advisor on radio solutions.
Establish relationships with technical key influencers and decision-makers, managing the end-to-end technical sales process for products, solutions, and services across Samsung's Open RAN portfolio.
Drive and develop customer solutions based on a deep understanding of their objectives, market requirements, and Samsung's ORAN portfolio.
Promote new solutions to customers, supporting the sales account with value argumentation, solution description materials, dimensioning information, and pricing advice.
Stay informed about the market and regulatory environment, as well as industry trends, and propose solutions to customer challenges.
Act as the customer's advocate, ensuring their requirements are met by the R&D organization.
Identify technical opportunities for product, solution, and service sales in collaboration with the Account Team.
Lead the technical stream of RFI/RFQ/RFP responses, design efficient ORAN solutions, and manage temporary teams of HQ support personnel.
Maintain a deep technical knowledge of Samsung's RAN product line and underlying technologies.
Requirements
A strong understanding of the market and regulatory environment, including technical trends in the industry.
In-depth knowledge of Samsung Networks' ORAN portfolio and the evolution of the ORAN ecosystem.
Proven experience in consultative presales activities, working with operators, and engaging in technical discussions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence senior management and share knowledge effectively.
A willingness to take responsibility for technical decisions.
A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Telecoms, or a related field (industrial experience may substitute).
10+ years of experience in the telecom industry in a technical role.
Experience leading (virtual) teams for solution definition and technical sales process execution.
Detailed knowledge of mobile communications networks, particularly Radio Access.
Fluency in spoken and written in Czech and English.
A readiness to travel across Europe occasionally.
