Role Overview
Perform reliability and safety analyses across a diverse product portfolio.
Develop and maintain reliability and safety models for various systems, including FMECAs, reliability predictions, subsystem hazard analyses, and range safety assessments.
Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Provide actionable recommendations to improve product reliability and safety.
Collaborate with engineering teams and program stakeholders to integrate reliability principles into design processes.
Design and implement reliability test plans for new products and processes.
Analyze test anomalies and ensure adherence to quality standards through application of reliability engineering techniques.
Drive program compliance with Reliability and System Safety procedures and standard work requirements.
Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments and lead fault tree analyses related to product anomalies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
Active US Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline is strongly preferred.
Advanced degree in a related field.
Technical experience, preferably in aerospace or defense sectors, including reliability analysis, development of FEMCAs and PFMECAs and the application of MIL-STD-882E.
Formal coursework in Reliability Engineering.
Knowledge of solid rocket motor systems is desired.
