Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits for power electronics applications, including control boards, gate drivers, and sensor interfaces.
Perform schematic capture, PCB layout design, and component selection, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and DFM/DFT principles.
Conduct detailed simulations (e.g., SPICE, Altium Designer, PSpice) to verify circuit performance and integrity.
Build, debug, and validate hardware prototypes, conducting comprehensive functional and performance testing.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to integrate hardware designs into complete systems.
Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating input from stakeholders.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and manufacturing instructions.
Stay abreast of the latest technologies, components, and industry trends in power electronics and hardware design.
Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in electronics hardware design, specifically within power electronics or industrial applications.
Strong proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, power supplies, and signal conditioning.
Expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
Experience with hardware debugging and testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
Solid understanding of EMI/EMC principles and design for compliance.
Familiarity with various communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, CAN).
Knowledge of power converter topologies (e.g., DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC) is a significant advantage.
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Swedish language skills are a plus.
