About this role
Role Overview
- Help in implementing business needs and core business functionality.
- Develop efficient code and ensure the code is tested.
- Write Unit & Integration Tests to ensure validity on business scenarios.
- Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and design.
- Provide application support and do application troubleshooting as needed.
- Support production release after thorough training.
Requirements
- Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.
- Experience between 4 to 6 years.
- Strong programming fundamentals & algorithms primarily implemented in Java language.
- Good in UNIX scripting (primarily bash).
- Highly competent in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Spring framework, JMS, Websphere MQ.
- Able to independently code with minimal oversight.
- Process oriented, clear understanding of Software Development life cycle.
- Experienced in agile projects through all phases.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and Single Page Applications.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with business system analysts.
