Responsible for driving proper focus around quality management & quality control related to Performance Engineering delivery and field management activities
Collaborate with the functional engineering teams to drive proper containment, conduct root-cause and identify corrective and preventative actions for any identified quality issues
Identify critical processes and drive creation of the standard work, methods, and processes to ensure repeatability of high-quality outputs with proper governance
Coach, mentor, and train the wider Performance Engineering community on Quality tools & methodology
Manage Quality related KPI’s and ensure daily management for On Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, NCR, ER and SDR resolutions
Conduct internal audits to ensure proper awareness, compliance, and adherence to the methods and processes
Identify, initiate, conduct and track completion of root-cause analysis (RCA) for Engineering NCR’s
Document & prioritize the Corrective and Preventative actions (CAPA) to ensure non-repeat of the NCR
Foster & build strong relationships with Design COE’s, ITR Engineering, Project Management, and other engineering teams
Requirements
B.S. degree in Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering
Background in thermal performance of gas turbine, steam turbine, or combined cycle systems
Able to communicate in English
Available and willing to travel as required
