AI Engineer, Biometrics, Data Science

Role Overview

• Design, implement, and operationalize domain-specific AI agents.
• Develop prompt strategies and retrieval/grounding pipelines.
• Collaborate with statistical programmers, statisticians, data scientists and platform engineers.
• Establish robust evaluation frameworks and optimize model selection and performance.
• Build adapters that integrate agents with various systems.
• Fine-tune or customize models where appropriate.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience building AI/ML or NLP applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool/function calling.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
• Experience evaluating generative systems and implementing safety/guardrail mechanisms.
• Experience integrating LLMs with code generation workflows.
• Exposure to regulated environments (GxP, CSV).
