Create analytical reports, perform statistical analyses, and prototype product enhancements on large sets of customer, internal, and third-party industry data
Identify, interpret, and validate trends and patterns to uncover business opportunities and solve clients' most forefront business problems
Ideate and create new analytics models and metrics using advanced techniques to help drive sales growth for clients
Build and support the automation of ongoing deliverables for the suite of SS&C Distribution Intelligence products and services
Run ad-hoc queries at various levels of aggregation across a variety of data sets to conduct research on client-specific questions and issues
Prepare analytical insights for use in client sales meetings via PowerPoint presentations, Excel documents, etc.
Work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams including data stewards, development teams, sales teams, and product managers
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an analytics role
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or Engineering
At least 2 years of hands-on SQL experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with R, Python, or other programming languages
Familiarity with Amazon Redshift, DB2, or similar databases
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Amazon Quicksight
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate techniques and translate data into actionable insights.
