About this role
Role Overview
Provide legal support related to innovative activities, development of new services and innovative technology, and arrangements with commercial entities
Advise on a wide range of legal issues impacting development activities, regulatory issues and administrative policies
Responsible for negotiation and documentation of such transactions, due diligence activities, and preparation of governing body resolutions
Provide general legal advice to senior management, staff and employees as it relates to areas of business development to reduce exposure to legal risks and promote compliance with legal requirements
Requirements
Graduation from a recognized college or university; graduation from an accredited law school with a J.D. degree
Minimum of four (4) to ten (10) years of transactional legal experience
Health care, innovation or information systems experience preferred
Must be admitted and in good standing in Pennsylvania or other state bar; admission to Pennsylvania bar and New Jersey required within one (1) year of appointment
Demonstrated capability for legal research, analysis and reasoning, drafting, and impeccable oral and written communication skills
Ability to identify and resolve complicated and sensitive problems creatively
Ability to interact and function effectively in a clinical, academic and research environment
Real Estate experience is a plus.
