Senior BI Manager

Role Overview

• As a BI Senior Manager, you will be the core leader of the company’s business intelligence team, responsible for formulating and implementing the company’s BI strategy and roadmap.
• You will lead the team to build and optimize the BI system, integrate data from digital currency trading, payment services, user behavior, risk control, and compliance, and provide accurate, timely, and actionable data insights for the company’s senior management, business departments, and compliance teams.
• BI Strategy & System Construction: Formulate the company’s long-term and short-term BI strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan.
• Team Management & Development: Build, manage, and develop the BI team, formulate team OKRs, performance assessment standards, and talent training plans.
• Data Analysis & Insight Provision: Lead the team to conduct in-depth data analysis on core business areas and provide data-driven insights and decision support for senior management.
• Cross-departmental Collaboration & Demand Management: Communicate closely with business departments and coordinate internal resources to promote the implementation of BI projects.
• Risk Control & Compliance Support: Lead the team to build data models for risk control and compliance.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of BI-related work experience, including 3+ years of senior BI team management experience; preferred experience in fintech, digital currency, payment, or blockchain industries.
• Professional Expertise:
• Proficient in BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker), data modeling, data visualization, and data analysis methods.
• Familiar with data warehouse construction, ETL processes, and data quality management; able to independently lead the construction and optimization of BI systems.
• Understanding of global regulatory requirements (FATF, MiCA, etc.) related to digital assets and payment, and experience in providing BI support for compliance and risk control.
• Proficient in SQL, familiar with Python/R is preferred; able to conduct complex data analysis and model building.
• Leadership & Management: Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, able to build and lead a high-performance BI team; strong cross-departmental coordination and resource integration capabilities.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong data sensitivity and analytical thinking, able to identify business problems from data and provide actionable solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, able to effectively communicate with senior management, business departments, and technical teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or related fields; relevant professional certifications (such as CBIP, Data Analyst Professional) are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Has experience in building BI systems for compliant digital currency exchanges or payment institutions.
• Familiar with on-chain data analysis, digital asset trading data logic, and payment transaction data processing.
• Has experience in leading BI projects related to risk control and compliance, and understands the data needs of regulatory audits.
• Familiar with cloud computing and big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark) and has experience in applying them to BI systems.
