Manage large-scale highway engineering studies and projects from scope definition through final delivery.
Manage Project Quality Control (CQP) and Value Engineering services, always seeking adherence to the Business Plan budget and design optimizations.
Coordinate Project Verification Requests and Technical Construction Oversight activities and lead related technical discussions.
Review quantity spreadsheets (bill of quantities) across all disciplines and propose optimizations.
Perform technical analysis of proposals received from suppliers, participating in the contracting process for design and construction of Expansions and Improvements.
Full contract management for agreements with Companies (Designers and Consultancies).
Coordinate and participate in technical alignment meetings among key stakeholders involved in studies and design projects.
Coordinate with Business Units the procedures to start contracted field services (kick-off meeting with the contractor, team integration meeting, etc.).
Critically review deliverables received from third-party companies (designers and consultancies) prior to final delivery.
Work with Accredited Inspection Bodies to obtain certifications for projects developed by the Project Management department.
Support the responsible area in budgeting engineering works based on previously prepared studies or designs.
Support Business Units in obtaining environmental permits, expropriations, and relocation of interferences.
Support Business Units in obtaining approvals for projects, studies, and surveys from External Agencies.
Participate in the development of new routines and working methodologies (processes), contributing to increased technical and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the development and achievement of individual and collective targets.
Perform technical and administrative management activities necessary to meet established objectives (e.g., preparation and approval of Terms of Reference, physical and financial schedules, contracts, amendments, measurements, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Project Management experience.
Full Microsoft Office suite (advanced level).
AutoCAD (intermediate level), BIM project authoring and management tools, and knowledge of cost estimating/budgeting (desirable).
Experience preparing or technically managing road infrastructure projects (preferably with prior experience in highway concessions).
