About this role

Reporting to the Grant Finance Manager
Implement the project’s infrastructure and systems needed to support the project and the organization’s strategic objectives
Involved with project implementation finances, including start up, close-out, project cost management
Reconciliation of project accounts and financial reporting to project staff
Financial analysis and data interpretation
Comply with Federal and State reporting requirements
Collaborate with Finance colleagues to streamline project-related information and financial data
Assist in analyzing project costs and providing financial decision support

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
3-5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit environment
Knowledge and understanding of the USG Rules and Regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR ) and 2CFR200
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication abilities
Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
Solid experience in cradle-to-grave project (donor) finances
Strong budgeting and analytical/problem solving skills
Experience assuming a wide range of responsibilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels
