Role Overview
- Lead (major and minor) certification activities to ensure compliance with design requirements and be a technical focal for certification and structures / stress issues relating to large aircraft modification Programmes
- Compile and / or review structural substantiation documents related to Product certification and integration to the aircraft of new seat and seat furniture, cabin interior like galleys, lavatories and class dividers
- Primary structure changes including connectivity solutions including removal or/and installation of new antennae
- Work closely with Boeing teams and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure our products are delivered in the correct condition and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Stress/Structures/Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
- 8+ years' experience in commercial aircraft design within an EASA Part 21, Subpart J Design Organization (or equivalent).
- Experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for Structures (EASA Panel 3) in current or previous role.
- Demonstrated experience with certification under EASA Part 21J.
- Experience within seat development and certification from concept through approval, including test witnessing and ETSO (i.e.: C127, C39 series) performance standards for aircraft seats knowledge.
