Nuclear Surety Training and Exercise Planner – Military Operations Analyst 3

Role Overview

• Plan, organize, and lead Force-on-Force (FoF) exercises for USAFE-AFAFRICA PL-1 units
• Provide resources and scenarios that support exercises based on real-world mission requirements
• Participate in scheduled demonstrations and major command exercises
• Coordinate external support, including OPFOR, White Cell, exercise controllers, and engagement systems
• Serve as the equipment custodian for engagement and data collection systems
• Study previous modeling and simulation reports, and studies from DANTES, DTRA exercises
• Develop and manage a comprehensive performance evaluation (PE) program for all USAFE-AFAFRICA PL-1 units
• Lead the development of a USAFE-AFAFRICA MAJCOM guide for foundational TTPs for Weapons Storage and Security System (WS3) environments
• Research, develop, and deliver tailored training briefs and formal courses
• Organize USAFE-AFAFRICA's support for the NATO STEADFAST NOMAD exercise program

Requirements

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
• Proven experience with the Joint Exercise Planning Process and/or the NATO Exercise Planning Process
• Direct experience in planning and executing Force-on-Force (FoF) exercises
• Prior experience with Coalition Partner Training/Exercise Planning Desired
• Strong background in nuclear weapons security
• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
