Direct the Quality and Continuous Improvement Process for the GPI facility
Develop, implement and preserve the validity of the Quality System
Properly allocate available capital to equipment and processes
Identify personnel training requirements relative to new equipment and processes
Improve people and processes to remove cost from the system and improve product quality
Understand and align business operations and the Department to exceed customer expectations
Meet and maintain all divisional Quality Process Management objectives
Direct QC and Lab Technicians’ activities to assure compliance to customer specifications
Serve as the plant’s contact for customer complaints and audits
Develop SPC in production and QC areas for process control
Execute and manage CI initiatives including Six Sigma and Lean projects
Track and report financial validated savings through GPI Project Tracking Database
Communicate plant quality expectations and monitor performance
Promote cleanliness of the work area in support of product stewardship standards

Manufacturing experience preferred
Must be a certified Six Sigma Black Belt or attain certification as part of selection for this position
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, track, execute and document multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, develop, implement and document systems for maintenance and control of products and processes
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar word processing, MINITAB, SHAREPOINT, spreadsheet and communications software
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
