Role Overview
- Assists with the investment reporting function for U.S. GAAP and NAIC
- Ensures reporting consistency in financial statements and board reports
- Researches and proposes new disclosures and modifications to reports
- Determines appropriate disclosures related to new investment types
- Interprets new pronouncements and guidelines issued by authoritative associations
- Recommends appropriate changes to accounting systems and presentation
- Analyzes and interprets financial results
- Prepares audit documents upon request
- Explains reports and position to auditors as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5-7 years of financial reporting experience required
- Public accounting or investment related financial reporting experience a plus
- CPA preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
