Perform duties to guarantee qualified health care professionals licensed or applying to be licensed under the Florida Board of Nursing can work in Florida
Support increase in qualified health care professionals during public health emergencies
Supervise six (6) Regulatory Specialist III, including hiring, training, and performance appraisals
Ensure direct reports meet performance expectations and have appropriate training
Run database reports daily to monitor workflow
Determine licensure and exemption eligibility
Advise MQA Call Center staff and stakeholders regarding licensure procedures
Ensure Board review files are prepared correctly and timely
Monitor applications with Board ordered conditional approval
Analyze and resolve consumer complaints
Collaborate with the Agency for Health Care Administration regarding exemptions and criminal offenses
Lead by example in professional conduct
Requirements
Must be physically present in the office to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
