Role Overview

• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Managing incoming work and allocating matters effectively
• Supervising team capacity, utilisation, quality and delivery
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members and paralegals
• Providing strategic, commercially focused advice on trade mark and design matters
• Managing trade mark portfolios
• Conducting and overseeing trade mark searches
• Filing and prosecuting trade mark and design applications
• Handling contentious matters

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Trade Mark Attorney or Solicitor
• Extensive knowledge of UK trade mark law
• Experience of managing or supporting global trade mark portfolios
• Demonstrable experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members
• Effective client management skills
• Commercial awareness
• Keen attention to detail
• Analytical skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative, proactive and team-oriented approach
