Maintains project billing schedules, project plans, and budget information.
Prepares complex project billings and supplementary information.
Performs accounts receivable collections as requested and manages work in process billings.
Works closely with project managers to review contracts, project costs, budgets, and schedules.
Assists with month-end bookkeeping duties as required.
Assists with other clerical tasks as requested.
Demonstrates accurate judgment about the applicability of project cost accounting, federal cost accounting standards, and federal/state payroll and payroll tax regulations to numerous accounting situations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely-related field, or equivalent related experience in lieu of a 4-year degree.
Proficiency in Excel.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and a desire to work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in consulting industry or AEC industry.
Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint.
