Conducting and overseeing test campaigns and data collection
Liaison with test engineering, design, and manufacturing departments
Operation of dedicated test facilities to conduct product development and production acceptance tests to defined test procedures including: Weapon Release / Climatic / Pressure / Structural / Vibration
Recording test results and interpreting the data for the investigation and implementation of solutions to products, process or test problems and reporting
Understanding safety in the workplace at all times
Fitment and verification of test measurement instrumentation
Predominantly onsite at Brighton, with a flexible approach to work to meet project demands
Requirements
Relevant College or University qualification or suitable apprenticeship with previous relevant experience of practical skills
Understanding of the principles of testing
Proven knowledge of mechanical assembly
Proven practical skills and use of hand tools
Methods of assembly and selection of fixings
Ability to consistently follow operational instructions
Ability to learn product knowledge and apply troubleshooting through critical thinking
Effective communication skills
A drive to achieve delivery right first time, on time and to budget
Motivation and enthusiasm, with a willingness to learn
