Role Overview
- oversee all finance, accounting and reporting activities
- support presentations for senior leadership
- lead day-to-day finance operations of a $75 million budget
- supervise a team of 7 staff members
- educate program leaders on finance and accounting procedures
- analyze financial data and present financial reports
- assist in annual budgeting and planning process
- coordinate all audit activity
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of accounting and finance experience
- personal qualities of integrity and credibility
- proactive, hands-on strategic thinker
- minimum of a BA; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- solid experience coordinating audit activities
- technology savvy with experience selecting software
- commitment to recruiting, mentoring, and retaining a diverse team
- keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to translate complex financial concepts
