Support of a diverse caseload, including development of action plans and communication of issues, status, case developments and litigation risks.
Caseload will include primarily Talc/Asbestos as well as some product liability and general commercial litigation, environmental, bankruptcy and providing assistance to other in-house-counsel on other matters, as needed.
Supervise the collection and production of documents, preserving all privileges.
Effectively manage outside counsel spend.
Analyze complex situations, develop and communicate strategies and carry them out.
Requirements
Excellent academic credentials, including a BA/BS and Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5-7 years of legal experience.
Licensed to practice law in a US state, and either in good standing in New Jersey or able to obtain a NJ limited license for in-house counsel.
Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and other corporate standard software
required.
Experience for a pharma/biotech company, FDA or other relevant governmental agency, or for a law firm working on healthcare-related matters.
