Investigate complex alerts: Handle transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reports (processing around 25 alerts per day) with a high degree of autonomy.
Perform quality controls: Conduct 1st-level controls and internal checks to verify the team's work and ensure strict adherence to internal procedures.
Drive continuous improvement: Autonomously challenge existing processes, identify gaps, and manage projects to improve our daily operational efficiency.
Mentor and share knowledge: Act as a referent for the team by coaching peers, sharing expertise on complex cases (such as accounting, sanctions, and terrorism financing).
Manage stakeholders: Serve as a reliable point of contact for complex compliance topics, interacting confidently with internal teams and external auditors or regulators when necessary.
Requirements
Experience: You have 2 to 3 years of experience in transaction monitoring and AML/CFT, preferably in a traditional bank or a Fintech.
Technical Expertise: You have a deep understanding of terrorism financing, sanctions, and embargoes, ideally with accounting knowledge.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: You are not just executing tasks; you know how to autonomously identify bottlenecks, challenge processes, and manage continuous improvement projects.
Mentorship & Communication: You are comfortable sharing your knowledge to coach colleagues and interacting professionally with auditors and regulators.
Languages: You are fluent in both French and English to communicate effectively with our international teams and local stakeholders.
