About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for managing all sales matters related to the Area
Drive and direct the sales organization to achieve all targets set for the Area
Collaborate with the management teams in other departments to improve customer experience
Liaise whenever required with the sales management teams in other Areas
Safeguards cost efficiency by reducing imbalances through optimizing container flows
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that volume and revenue projections align with company objectives
Analyze competition activity and market developments that may have an impact
Participate in and support Global, Regional and local sales projects
Develop strategies for growth with target and key customers
Identify potential new customers in line with company strategy
Build and maintain effective working relationships with senior customer contacts
Monitor customer performance and ensure actions are taken to improve business
Act as escalation point for complex customer issues
Develop competitive rate and service contract offers to clients in consultation with Trade Management within the guidelines of the company.
Review customer survey results and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction together with other relevant departments
Promote the usage of new and existing products offered by Hapag-Lloyd
