Set into a role as Category Manager IT where you are an integral member of the dedicated IT Procurement team within SAS Procurement organization.
You will be responsible for shaping sourcing decisions across the wider IT landscape, in close collaboration with fellow IT Category Managers to ensure alignment, synergies and a consistent sourcing approach across all IT categories.
The role also involves hands‑on, operational procurement work; from managing day‑to‑day supplier interactions and supporting ongoing purchasing needs to ensuring smooth execution of processes and resolving operational issues as they arise.
You will oversee a primary IT category, ensuring that strategy, sourcing decisions and supplier relationships create long‑term value.
You will tackle the intricate task of balancing category ownership with the flexibility to support additional IT categories, all while operating in a rapidly evolving and fast‑moving industry.
As the main point of contact for your category, you will coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders. Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial.
