Senior Commercial Counsel

Role Overview

• Support the Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Procurement, Marketing and Customer Success orgs
• Provide legal support and advice on a broad range of commercial agreements
• Participate in end-to-end contract support for commercial agreements
• Assist in the operation and development of policies and procedures
• Contribute to problem resolution by identifying, addressing, and escalating issues
• Work cross-functionally on a variety of legal matters
• Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice to non-lawyers

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
• Active member of a recognized state bar in the United States
• 7+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
• Excellent negotiating and drafting skills on financial/commercial transactions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize
• Detail oriented and driven to do things right
• Self-motivated with a passion for taking ownership of your work
• Team player with a ‘winning as a team’ attitude
