Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial and non-commercial agreements including but not limited to: Supply, Material Transfer, Distribution, Research, Consulting, Quality and Technology and Licensing agreements.
Working knowledge of GDPR to support review and negotiation of data processing agreements, and related privacy
Healthcare Compliance support, including analysis of contractual rebates and discount offer to ensure compliance with Anti-Kickback Statute and healthcare regulations.

Keep abreast of and proactively address changing regulations, industry and market trends, and technology, and effectively work with a variety of business, finance and legal stakeholders to develop and implement resulting practices that support innovation and growth while maintaining appropriate protections and safeguards for Axogen.
Drive and/or assist with various legal department projects that support the legal department goals as well as efforts to develop, implement and enhance processes that improve transaction and contracting velocity and scaling without material increases in risk.
Requirements
J.D. from ABA accredited law school; admitted to practice in US.
Minimum 10 years of legal expertise as in-house counsel working on wide range of commercial and non-commercial
Experience managing a large volume of contracts, including maintaining
Experience working with medical device or life science companies is highly
Experience with International Distribution (e.g., international distribution agreements and ancillary documentation) including any other areas to support company’s international growth strategy.
Experience in other areas of in-house counsel expertise, such as IP or privacy preferred.
Strong work ethic: willingness to learn new skills and function effectively in rapidly changing environment.
