Support strategic procurement initiatives including implementation of ai-enabled procurement platforms for intake & orchestration, contract management optimization and sourcing.
Support the implementation of the framework and governance of enterprise supplier management.
Support procurement process improvement initiatives, including optimization of third-party risk management processes.
Collaborate with procurement teams to analyze process improvements and performance metrics, provide actionable insights to internal and stakeholder leadership, and identify further improvement opportunities.
Participate in sourcing initiatives to gain hands-on experience.
Requirements
Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday for 12 weeks from May 18 – August 7, 2026.
Must be located or willing to relocate to Louisville, KY, New York City, NY or Arlington, VA or environs within commutable distance, and able to go into the office 2-3 days per week.
Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
Must be a current full-time student pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field with an expected graduation date of either December 2026 or Summer 2027.
Minimum of three years of professional work experience prior to beginning graduate school.
Ability to manage and interpret procurement data using business systems.
Must possess strong intrapersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
