About this role
Role Overview
Define and execute a global, future-ready supply chain strategy aligned with BU financial goals, margins, cash flow, and resilience.
Lead supply chain transformation, standardization, and digitalization (AI, IoT).
Make enterprise-level trade-off decisions across cost, service, risk, and sustainability.
Act as a key contributor to Automotive BU strategy and long-range planning.
Own global S&OP and demand planning processes; improve forecast accuracy using PDCA.
Lead supply planning to balance supply and demand, ensure high service levels, and shift from reactive to preventive planning.
Establish standardized supply frameworks (EOQ, JIT/consignment, incoterms, risk and supplier performance management).
Drive supplier development initiatives with Procurement.
Own global logistics strategy, 4PL operations, TMS optimization, and logistics risk management.
Set global standards for transport, warehousing, packaging, customs, and trade compliance.
Lead logistics cost optimization, crisis management, sustainability initiatives, and customer RFQ support.
Define and execute global inventory strategy supporting cash flow targets.
Establish governance, KPI dashboards, coverage targets, deviation management, and obsolescence reduction.
Lead global SCM targets, benchmarks, scorecards, and best-practice standardization.
Select and deploy SCM IT systems; drive network design and capability development.
Build strong cross-functional and global stakeholder partnerships.
Build and develop a high-performing global SCM organization. Lead coaching, training, succession planning, and long-term capability building.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
20+ years in global supply chain leadership or complex operations
Deep expertise in SCM frameworks, systems, and digital solutions
Automotive experience preferred
Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and executive communication
Proven ability to lead global, cross-cultural teams and drive transformation
