IT Associate Engineer, Software

Role Overview

• Complete basic end to end software engineering tasks
• Perform basic analysis, development, testing, debugging, configuration, incident investigation, documentation
• Health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on and related to user or system design specifications
• Work within guidelines set by team to independently tackle well-scoped problems
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices
• Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on work area

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Effectively uses code version control systems such as git
• Understands basic programming and OOP concepts
• Understands core application development patterns
• Experienced using data structures
• Familiar with traditional data stores
• Familiar with REST API syntax and tools for documenting and testing the REST APIs such as Swagger and Postman
• Familiar with Agile methodology
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
