Support in design, evaluate and implement efficient pipeline engineering projects to improve safety, reliability and efficiency of operations in various geographical areas throughout Southern California.
Support with clients and various project stakeholders to identify project needs, develop project scoping documents, and support project execution.
Assist in developing pipeline engineering designs including process diagrams, plans, profiles, details, material/equipment specifications, bill of materials, exhibits, etc.
Detailed Engineering including calculations, hydrostatic testing plans, design basis documents, project execution plans, sizing & selection of equipment, etc.
Review of Client and/or Vendor documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of FEED design & calculations.
Prepare and maintain project budget and schedules including cost and schedule tracking reports.
Requirements
B.S. Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or similar field is required.
1-3+ years experience in gas utilities and/or gas processing design engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical knowledge and experience in pipeline engineering and design and understanding of applicable regulations and standards.
Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.
Familiarity and knowledge of API, ASME and ANSI standards is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
Ability to travel as dictated by project requirements including site visits and in-person meetings.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
