Application Engineer

Role Overview

• Provide advanced technical application support
• Quote special product designs
• Provide input on product roadmap
• Develop application training programs for internal and external customers
• Aid product support team on moderately complex technical support via phone and e-mail
• Develop and communicate solutions for unique applications
• Gather information and provide resolution to complex field problems
• Maintain working knowledge of industry codes and standards
• Highlight and communicate key selling points of products
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Develop, organize and present trainings to internal and external customers
• Participate in planning, set-up, and customer interactions at offsite events

Requirements

• 2 Year / Associate Degree in engineering or equivalent years of job experience required
• 4 Year / Bachelor Degree preferred
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in engineering required for level I
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in engineering required for level II
• 6-9 years of relevant work experience in engineering required for Senior level
