About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee and manage project budgets, schedule, and administration of commercial projects
- Manage relationships with clients, architects, design teams, subcontractors, etc.
- Learn and utilize ProCore Converge as the primary project management tool/software
- Perform constructability reviews on project plans and specifications
- Coordinate project turnover with Estimating
- Prepare and maintain project budgets
- Review and become familiar with owner contracts
- Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate all pre-construction meetings
- Create, monitor, track, and update progress schedule
- Issue complete approved set of documents to Superintendent
- Obtain building permits, track inspections, and certificates of occupancy
- Review, monitor, and coordinate all approvals of shop drawings
- Assist in obtaining temporary utilities and facilities
- Generate estimates and proposals for change orders
- Monitor and process all change orders
- Prepare cost to complete projections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field
- 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction
- Confined Space, CPR/AED/First Aid, Defensive Driving certifications preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Project Manager role
- OSHA 30 certification
