Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
Proficiency in both languages required for clients from various provinces outside of Quebec
University or college degree in a related discipline is considered an asset
Currently enrolled or interested in insurance-related courses (LOMA and/or ALU courses)
At least 5 years of professional experience as an underwriter
Approval limit $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 in life insurance and $250,000 in critical illness insurance
Knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, diseases, tests, and modes of treatment
General awareness of current events, industry issues, and trends
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to define, research, and solve problems
Excellent mentoring and exemplary customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
