About this role
Role Overview
Developing, managing, and growing relationships with dealers in Georgia’s Own indirect lending network (Automobile, Marine and RV)
Serving as the primary liaison between the Credit Union and its dealer partners
Ensuring quality loan volume, adherence to lending guidelines, and mutually beneficial performance outcomes
Actively seeking out new dealership partners to expand Georgia’s Own reach and drive strategic loan growth
Maintaining strong, professional relationships through frequent communication – both in person and by phone
Providing training and ongoing support to dealership staff on the Credit Union’s products and processes
Addressing any issues or concerns raised by dealerships
Collaborating with Lending Administration to ensure credit policy alignment and loan quality
Actively working with dealer partners and internal staff to ensure that approved loans are captured and funded according to established expectations
Monitoring dealer performance and proactively addressing issues related to loan quality, funding delays, or documentation gaps
Driving volume growth through strategic dealer engagement while maintaining portfolio quality
Completing required dealer reviews and reports, constantly keeping a pulse of active dealers
Representing Georgia’s Own at industry events and dealership-sponsored activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or related field preferred, but not required
Minimum 5 years of management or sales experience within a financial institution required, with indirect lending field preferred
Must be willing and able to travel regularly within the assigned region (approximately 50 – 75% of the time)
Strong presence and professionalism in face-to-face interactions
Strong interpersonal skills to influence dealer behavior
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good sales skills in talking with dealers is a plus
Ability to work occasional Saturdays to support sales events, or promotional activities based on business needs
Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in applying credit risk principles to lending recommendations
Understanding of financial services related products and overall financial services operations
Fluent in English required and Spanish preferred.
